Your water
Hard water
Hard water is full of calcium and magnesium. It leaves white spots on glass and fixtures, builds scale in water heaters, and makes soap work harder. Much of Florida's water comes from limestone aquifers, so it is often hard.
Iron and smell
Well water can carry iron (orange stains) or sulfur (a rotten-egg smell). The free test tells us which, so we recommend the right fix, not the most expensive one.
Chlorine and taste
City water is treated with chlorine. A whole-house carbon filter takes out the taste and smell; an RO system makes drinking water taste its best.
